Jazz / Lyrical

Jazz/Lyrical dance is a beautiful fusion of two dynamic styles—jazz and lyrical—that emphasizes emotional expression, fluidity, and strong technical movement. In our studio, Jazz/Lyrical classes focus on developing strong technical skills, including jumps, turns, and isolations, while also exploring the emotional depth of the dance. Dancers learn to connect with the music, using both sharp, fast movements and smooth, and flowing lines. Whether you're new to dance or have experience, our Jazz/Lyrical classes help build strength, flexibility, and creativity while nurturing your emotional expression through movement. (At LDA, when music with lyrics are used, we make it a priority to choose music that is clean and has a good message, or is worship music.)
